Neighborhood Showcase 2007

FREE Admission
11:00– 5:00

In the Pennsylvania Quarter
Pennsylvania Avenue to L Street, NW, 4th and 14th streets, NW
Metro: Metro Center, Federal Triangle, Mt. Vernon Sq/7th St-Convention Center, Gallery Pl-Chinatown, Archives-Navy Mem’l-Penn Quarter, or Judiciary Sq.

The Neighborhood Showcase includes more than 45 neighborhood venues, performing companies, and neighborhood businesses and organizations hosting free performances, activities, and exhibits. Highlights include the preview events and tours of the Shakespeare Theatre Company’s brand new Sidney Harman Hall, dance and theater performances from improv to belly dance, stage combat to musical theater, comedy to satire, multiple film screenings and some very special exhibits, demonstrations, classes, and workshops, guided neighborhood and backstage tours for rarely-seen theater experiences, and jamming on new musical instruments or listening to music at a number of venues.

The venues are arranged geographically, from west to east, and as one heads east, from north to south. The map of the Neighborhood Showcase sites should help you find each of these venues.
